Only voters registered as Republicans or Democrats can vote in the June 3rd Primary Election. New Mexico has a closed primary - you can only vote for candidates of the Party you are registered under.

If you are not already a registered voter in New Mexico, you can register at your County Clerk's office, or by mail. Click on the links below for more information.

Early Voting

At County Clerk's Office Annex

Early in-person absentee voting begins May 6 a the County Clerk's Office Annex in downtown Albuquerque at 620 Lomas NW (map link)

At Alternate Voting Locations

Early in-person voting at satellite locations throughout the County will begin Saturday May 17.

Absentee Voting

If you will not be able to vote in person, you can request an absentee ballot from your County Clerk's office. Requests must be in no later than May 29th, 5:00pm. You must return your ballot so that it's in the County Clerk's office no later than 7:00pm on Election Day, June 3rdt.
