A Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007. This Municipal Election will fill the City Council positions from the even-numbered districts - 2, 4, 6 and 8. Voters will also be voting on municipal bond issues and 5 ballots propositions. In City Council District 9, there is a Recall question.
Qualified registered voters within the Albuquerque city limits are eligible to vote in this election. All eligible voters can vote on the municipal bond issues and on the ballot propositions. If you live in an even-numbered district you will also be eligible to vote for a City Council candidate from your district.

| Aug 28 | First Day for City Clerk to mail absentee ballots to voters whose applications have been approved |
| Sep 4 | Voter Registration closes. If you have not registered to vote by Sep 4, you will not be allowed to vote in the Oct 2 election. |
| Sep 12 | First day for Early Voting. Absentee voters can cast paper ballots or vote in person at the City Clerk's office. |
| Sep 28 | Last day for City Clerk to mail absentee ballots and last day to cast absentee ballots in person. Last day to vote absentee on paper ballot at City Clerk's office. |
| Oct 2 | Election Day. The polls will be open from 7:00am to 7:00pm. To find out where you vote, click here. Completed absentee ballots must be received in the City Clerk's office no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Absentee ballot packets delivered in person to the City Clerk's office must be delivered by the voter or by members of the voter's immediate family. Immediate family means spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters. |
