New Position Approved

The study group formulated a new position in December, based on the results of the November Consensus meetings, and submitted it to the LWVNM Board in January. After discussion, an amended position was approved and printed in the Winter 2009 La Palabra. Copies of the position were distributed at League Day at the Legislature, for members to use in discussing Redistricting with their representativdes.

The Study Group welcomes new members. If you'd like to join, please send a message to Cheryl Haaker which gives your name and your local League (or MAL).
