All members of the League are invited to attend the Annual Meeting. Be sure to bring along your April Voter with the "Call to Meeting" information and your member handbooks.
The keynote speaker will be Bill Plflugrath, Assistant US Attorney, who will talk about The Challenges of Immigration along the US-Mexico Boarder. Mr. Plflugrath has been assigned to the Narcotics and Immigration Section of the U.S. Attorney's Office since 2002. Prior to that, he was a Bernalillo County Assistant District Attorney (1996-2002). He is a graduate of the University of California Hastings College of the Law and did graduate studies at the University of California Berkeley, and the U.S. Army War College. He was on active duty with the Navy for ten years and is a captain in the Naval Reserves, having served time in several assignments around the world. He is a prosecutor and will share his unique perspective on a complex issue facing our country today.

(note) The cost of the brunch is $14. Please make your reservations with the LWV/ABC Office, by phone 884-8441, or by sending your check - so your reservations are received by Tuesday, May 2. You are responsible for any reservations that you make and you will be billed for the cost if you do not attend and have not cancelled by the May 2 deadline.
